Coach trip Edinburgh to Miners’ Library Friday 5th June 2026

To follow on from the Edinburgh Study Day (Thursday 4th June 2026), celebrating the 270th anniversary of the Wanlockhead Miners’ Library we are organising a coach trip from Edinburgh to the museum on Friday 5th June, 2026. The coach will leave from, and return to, Market Street, Edinburgh – specific details nearer the time.

Expressions of interest to be made to anne.buddle@leadminingmuseum.co.uk Priority will be given to people booking on-line prior to 1st May.

Ticket (£35.00 plus platform booking fee) includes return coach fare and admission to the museum and guided tour of the Miners’ Library, Straitsteps Cottages and Lochnell Mine. Walking shoes and a waterproof coat are recommended as the mine can be ‘drippy’!
