Home | News | Extended opening hours over Spring Bank Holiday weekend, including Bank Holiday Monday.

The museum has extended its opening times over the Spring May Bank Holiday weekend and is also open on the Bank Holiday Monday. We are open to welcome you between 11am and 4pm on Sat. 23rd, Sun 24th and Mon 25th May, 2026.

Opening times through May are 11am until 3pm Wednesday to Sunday. Guided tours can be booked on-line or at reception. www.leadminingmuseum.co.uk

The British Gold Panning Championships will also be being hosted at the museum on 23rd and 24th May. No experience required. Registration at 09.00
