Leave a Legacy

Home | Support Us | Leave a Legacy

Many visitors return with their children to revisit childhood memories. If you feel that you would like to support the museum into the future, a gift, no matter how small, will help to preserve this unique story for many generations.

How to leave a gift in your will.

It is recommended that writing or updating a will is undertaken with the support of a suitably qualified professional. The following text can be rewritten by your legal advisor to suit your gifting intentions :

I leave to the Board of Trustees of the Wanlockhead Museum Trust, Museum of Lead Mining, Wanlockhead, ML12 6UT (charity number SC001508) the sum of £xxxx or xxx% residue of my estate

If you choose to make a legacy to the Museum of Lead Mining, please let us know. We will then be able to thank you and show how your generosity will make a difference. To find out more or to leave a gift in memory of a loved one please contact info@leadminingmuseum.co.uk and address the email to the Chair of Trustees.

Thank you for thinking about supporting the museum in this enduring way.
