Witches’ Ball Red
A lovely red witches’ ball that measures 9cm in diameter.
In the 18th and 19th century ‘Witches’ Balls’ were hung in the windows of miner’s cottages to ward off evil spirits. It was believed that witches could be entrapped by their own reflection. The witch would look into the cottage window, she her own reflection and believe that a witch was already resident in the house and would pass the cottage by. Want to avoid witches, bad fortune and evil spirits? Put a Witches’ Ball in your window!
