Would you like to help us as ‘Lead goes Gold!’?

To celebrate the Golden Anniversary of the Museum of Lead Mining, in 2024, we want to collect living stories and memories related to the local mining community. These can cover a range of topics including mining, the Miners’ Library, the village school, sports teams and games, mining tools, cooking and more! The stories will be added to a booklet containing tales from the past and thoughts for the next 50 years.
