Planning a School Visit
To get the most out of your school visit, it is worth taking the time to do some advance planning. The Visitor Services Officer will be happy to discuss your requirements and make sure you have all the information you need. In addition, you can also take advantage of a free familiarisation visit for Teachers.

Safety
Our museum is an historic site, so special care must be taken when visiting with schoolchildren. To help you plan for this, we have produced guidance notes giving risk and safety advice.

Access
The exhibition areas at HIDDEN TREASURES, Museum of Lead Mining are fully accessible.

Costs
For pre-booked school groups, the admission rate is £4.75 per pupil. One adult per ten children is admitted free, additional adults are charged at £6.25 each.
